Carmen Lomas Picture Project Directions

Draw a picture inspired by the works of Carmen Lomas Garza that shows an important event or tradition involving family and/or friends. This picture must be colorful and demonstrate time and effort (no stick figures!).  – 20 points

Along with the picture you will provide a brief story of at least 5 sentences (in English) that explains what is happening in the picture and who is present. This story must have a title (in Spanish). – 10 points

You will be graded on the following:

·      Completeness (did you include everything mentioned above?)

·      Colorfulness/creativity (is it neat and fully colored? Do both the story and picture show time and effort?)
